Beach County law firm, Michaud,
Mittelmark & Antonacci, Mittelmark,
Millian, Blitz, & Warren has
experienced dramatic growth during
the last year. In a market where
down-sizing is the norm, Michaud,
Mittelmark & Antonacci, P.A. is
doing just the opposite. One of
South Florida's largest healthcare
litigation firms, has gained two new
partners and two new associates and
have plans to move to a new office
building effectively doubling their
current size.
Monty R. Warren, Esq.
joined the firm in January 2002 as a
Partner. His practice has been
concentrated on broad-based personal
injury defense matters and medical
malpractice since 1985, and has
grown to include physician-licensing
matters.
Because of his
extensive experience trying medical
malpractice cases, Mr. Warren has
lectured for several medical
associations including Florida
Medical Malpractice Claims Counsel,
Inc., Florida Society of Internal
Medicine, Florida Medical Foundation
and the FPIC on topics such as
"Effectiveness of Surveillance Prior
to Mediation" and "Loss Prevention
Through Proper Documentation."
Eric P.
Czelusta, Esq.
joined the firm in January 2002 as
an Associate. He concentrates his
practice primarily on medical
malpractice defense, insurance, and
civil litigation. Mr. Czelusta began
his legal career as the Assistant
State Attorney of the First Judicial
Circuit of Florida from 1998 to
2000, where he represented the State
of Florida in felony criminal
prosecutions from 1998 to 2000. He
continued to represent the State of
Florida as an Assistant State
Attorney for the 15th Judicial
Circuit from 2000 to 2001.
Paul Gamm,
Esq.
joined the firm in 2000 as a law
clerk until he became an associate
in May 2002 after graduating from
Nova Southeastern University School
of Law. He focuses his practice on
medical malpractice and physician
regulatory defense litigation.
Mark A. Coel, Esq.
joined the firm in August 2002 as a
Partner and continues his practice
on structuring sophisticated
corporate partnerships and joint
venture transactions involving
physicians, hospitals, and other
health care providers; sales and
purchases of medical practices; and
counseling clients on administrative
and regulatory health care law.
Board certified in
health law by the Florida Bar, Mr.
Coel is highly regarded as an expert
in the business aspects of
healthcare and as such broadened the
service offerings of Michaud
Buschmann to include comprehensive
legal advice to healthcare
professionals, particularly in
regulatory compliance, mergers and
acquisitions, and corporate and tax
matters.
Evan T.
Marowitz, Esq.
became an Associate with the firm in
September 2002. He brought with him
extensive trial experience and
concentrates his practice on medical
malpractice, drug and medical device
litigation and litigation and
appeals. He brought to the firm his
experience in defense litigation
gained while working as an Assistant
Public Defender in Brevard and
Broward County.
Future expansion
is planned once the firm moves to
its new location, which is still
under construction. They will be
located in One Park Place building
conveniently located off Interstate
95 at the exit for Yamato Road. The
new office will be centrally located
between the Palm Beach County and
Broward County courthouses and
easily accessible by South Florida's
Tri-Rail commuter train.
