Michael K. Mittelmark is a
Partner practicing in Michaud, Mittelmark, Antonacci & Marowitz, P.A. He
concentrated his practice in the
areas of medical malpractice
litigation, professional
malpractice, business litigation,
insurance coverage disputes, product
liability, and automobile accident
litigation. He represents a broad
spectrum of private companies and
individuals, as well as health care
professionals.
Mr. Mittelmark was admitted to the
Florida Bar and the U.S. District
Court for the Southern District of
Florida in 1989. He maintains active
memberships in the American, Palm
Beach, South Palm Beach County Bar
Associations and the Defense
Research Institute.
From his birth in New York, New
York, Mr. Mittelmark has had an
interesting journey to becoming a
legal professional. Following
graduation from high school, Mr.
Mittelmark attended a Bio-Medical
Program at Renssalaer Polytechnic
Institute in Troy, New York, after
which he obtained his Bachelor's
Degree, cum laude, from the
University of Florida in
Gainesville. While there, Mr.
Mittelmark completed his
undergraduate thesis on National
Health Insurance and was named to
the President's Honor Roll. He was
also the only student member of the
University Steering Committee in his
senior year. Deciding that his first
career choice was law, he entered
the Nova University Center for the
Study of Law, from which he received
his J.D. While a student at Nova,
Mr. Mittelmark was a member of and
served as Notes and Comments Editor
of the Nova Law Review.
Concurrent with attending law
school, Mr. Mittelmark clerked for
several local law firms engaging in
general civil practice before
accepting a position as an associate
with the law firm of Parker, Johnson
et al, P.A. During his tenure with
Parker, Johnson, he fine-tuned his
litigation skills in insurance
coverage, insurance defense and
medical malpractice matters. In June
1993, Mr. Mittelmark joined the firm
of Michaud, Buschmann, Fox, Ferrara
& Mittelmark, P.A. as a Partner,
where he now primarily handles
medical malpractice litigation.
Mr. Mittelmark resides in Boca Raton
with his wife and three future 'Gators,
Robert, Elizabeth and Jack.
